Here are two recipes of typically British pastries… Yummy !

1 . British Scones

Ingredients

  • 500g flour
  • 150g butter
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons of sugar
  • 150g dried fruit (sultanas, dried apricots ..any fruit)
  • 2 teaspoons of baking powder (= 1 sachet de levure)
  • ( Oven = 15 min – 180°C)


2 . Flapjacks

Ingredients

  • 300g oats
  • 200g butter
  • 2 tablespoons of golden syrup (or honey)
  • 100g of brown sugar
  • + if you want : dried fruit (any fruit)/ chopped chocolate/ peanut butter..
  • ( Oven = 35-40 min – 150°C)
